Recently, the resort joined forces with the team at Prodivers for the annual Clean Up the World event where Komandoo' eco-conscious Champions and guests joined the dive team to snorkel the lagoon areas to remove any debris washed in by the currents. It’s vital for the marine life that we continuously remove anything that doesn’t belong in the natural environment, and we’d like to thank all those who helped us.

Moving forwards through October the island is looking forward to International Chef’s Day on 20th, and the team are busy planning the Halloween celebration for the end of the month. As well as these set dates, we have manta season just beginning so if you don’t already follow us on Facebook and Instagram, now is a great time to start as we expect lots of exciting encounters to be posted there over the next few weeks and it’s a great way to keep up to date about the latest happenings at the resort.

Diving and snorkelling are set to become even more thrilling in the coming weeks as the Lhaviyani Atoll manta season begins and we look forward to the sound of excited chatter and flapping arms (the underwater sign for manta!) as boats return to the jetty after having encountered these magnificent creatures.
