Heaven for adventures and scuba divers, Vaavu is an administrative atoll in the Maldives. Located between South Male Atoll and Meemu Atoll, the Vaavu is also known as the natural Felidhoo Atoll, which includes the ring-shaped Vattaru reef (in the south of the atoll). The capital of Vaavu is Felidhoo island. The Vaavu Atoll collection includes 5 inhabited islands. To get to the islands of Vaavou Atoll you can by ferry or speedboat. Things to Do

The pristine Vaavu Atoll offers some of the most spectacular coral reefs and sandbanks in the Maldives. It's also home to Fotteyo Kandu, the largest unbroken barrier reef in the Maldives stretching over 50 kilometers, making it one of the best places for diving across the globe. Expect to see an array of dolphins, turtles, mantra rays, eagle rays, live coral and whale sharks under PADI Meridis Dive center guide.

House reef is the most exciting part of your stay and snorkelling is what you shouldn't miss in Cocogiri Island Resort. You have live corals in shallow water as well as in deep water. • The island is in the Kunaavashi Kandu (a channel) so expect beautiful and soft beaches as well as large prlagic life in abundance with snorkeling and diving options.
